I stumbled across a picture of you

And thought for sure I'd feel blue.
But surprisingly to me

I thought, "Surely, this could not be."
I didn't yearn, I didn't ache,

My heart didn't feel like it would break.
My eyes didn't swell,

There were no tears that fell.
My soul wasn't flooded with relentless emotions,

Or holding on to any misconceived notions.
I stared at your picture briefly, wishing you the best

Knowing that I had passed my personal test.
I realized it's done, you see,

I'm over you ~ Finally.
