Some days I cry for you,

Not loud and wailing,

But with tears falling silently from a broken heart.

Some days I long for you,

For the conversations we will never have,

And the memories we can no longer make.

Some days I miss you,

The moments we shared, good or bad,

Your smile, your laughter, your humor.

Some days I mourn for you,

For the person you were

And the stories you left untold.

But everyday, as life goes on

And the grief becomes bearable,

My heart will remember, I will remember you.
